Full Description
A small area of fragmented embanked field boundaries possibly of post medieval date visible as very low earthworks mapped from LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These boundaries may be associated with further banks and enclosures within the golf course to the NW (MKE124283). Similar fragments of boundaries have been recorded across the Isle of Thane which appear to pre-date the first edition OS map, but are likely to be post medieval in date (1).
