Full Description
An enclosure of Iron Age/Roman date was visible as a cropmark in NMR 26981/41 01-JUN-2011. The sub-rectangular enclosure measures about 45m by 36m on plan with an opening in the centre of its east side. It is in close proximity to at least two other enclosures and further fragmentary enclosures which, on morphological grounds, are likely of varied dates. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
