Full Description
The site of a small post-war prefab housing estate at Westgate-on Sea visible on aerial photographs taken in 1967 prior to being replaced by the housing along Dunstan Avenue and Allen Avenue. The prefabricated housing development comprised 18 individual flat-roofed bungalows with identical garden sheds (sometimes re-used anderson shelters). These were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1)
