Full Description
A polygonal enclosure of Uncertain date was visible as a cropmark on EARTH.GOOGLE.COM 03-2022. ACCESSED 06-JUN-2024. The enclosure has five sides and measures 10m x 12.5m and has a possible inturned entrance in the NE corner. It lies on the SW edge of an early medieval inhumation cemetetry (MKE 124382) and one of the graves is located within this enclosure. However, it is not clear from the cropmark evidence if the grave and enclosure are contemporary features. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024
