Full Description
A small ring ditch 5.5m in diameter, probably the remains of a round barrow of uncertain date (Bronze Age-Early medieal) identified as cropmarks from aerial photographs -HEA 29844/17 20-APR-2016 and CUCAP WT70 26-JUN-1958. This is one of a group of barrows of varying size, some of the smaller examples like this are thought to be Early medieval in date enclosed by a later settlement ditch. This barrow lies within the later enclosure (TR 26 NE 31). This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. (1-2)
