Full Description

Second World War roadblock blocking the SE end of Albert Road to halt access to the Railway station and goods yard to the SE. This was visible as a line of three anti-tank cubes visible on RAF/26J/BR194 VC 16 10-JAN-1941. This site is later seen to have been demolished on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.
