Full Description
The site of Two Second World War air raid shelters, on the eastern side of Hartsdown Road, on the western edge of Hartsdown Park, Margate. The shelters are visible as linear earthen banks (possibly semi-sunken) with angular crenellated plan and a single entrance in opposite ends. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Removed after the end of the war.
