Full Description
Cropmark of a possible medieval rectilinear settlement enclosure, within Quex Park, visible on aerial photographs: NMR 3115/160 02-JUL-1986 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 . Two slightly larger, but similar enclosures (TR 36 NW 493 and TR 36 NW 491) on the same alignment lies 20m and 50m to the south, suggesting a linear settlement. The visible remains of this enclosure are incomplete with the south-western side, two curved corners and parts of the South-eastern and north-western sides visible. It measures c.18.5m NW -SE and is sub-divided SW-NE.This site was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1-2)
