Full Description
Cropmark of a possible rectilinear settlement enclosure, of uncertain date, visible on aerial photographs: NMR 2176/38 03-AUG-1984. The site appears as two perpendicular (40m x at least 27.5m long) straight ditches and a short third ditch with two corners visible located immediately north of the ttree plantationplanted around the of Quex Park House. The remainder of the enclosure may lie to the south within these trees. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1).
