Full Description
Fragements of perpendicular dispersed embanked field boundaries possibly of post medieval date visible as very low earthworks north of Acol which have been mapped from LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These boundaries pre-date the first edition OS map, but are likely to be post medieval in date. Fragments of similar boundaries have been recorded across the Isle of Thanet (1).
