Full Description

Three weapons pits forming part of a defended locality of Second World War date were visible as earthworks on RAF/HLA/383 RS 957 28-DEC-1941. They were clustered in the northern corner of an orchard. Two pairs of short lengths of earthwork bank were positioned to the north-east and south-west of the weapons pits.

These features were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. They were was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
