Monument record MKE124692 - Three dispersed buildings and the traces of three further possible buildings thought to be Second World War in origin

Summary

Three dispersed buildings and the traces of three further possible buildings thought to be Second World War in origin. These buildings were seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1946, when three buildings had already been removed. They were seen arranged along the seaward side of the road curving around Slough Fort and may be associated with one of the three Light Anti Aircraft Diver batteries recorded but unlocated in this area. All feaures now lie beneath the Allhallows-on-Sea holiday park and are presumed destroyed. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
