Summary

A small oblong double-ditched enclosure of uncertain date seen as a cropmark and mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The inner enclosure is defined by a broad ditch, has rounded corners and measures 8.5m x 10m. It is surrounded on three sides by an outer sub-rectangular enclosure with a narrower ditch and very rounded corners meausuring c.13m x 16m. The cropmark traces of four rectilinear pits and at least two ring ditches lie in close proximity to the enclosure. It is not clear if these features are associated with the enclosure. All have been recorded separately.
