Full Description
An incomplete ring ditch of uncertain date with a diameter of c. 6m which was seen as a cropmark at TQ 8346 7762. It is possibly a small barrow or hut circle. This was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
This ring ditch lies in close proximity to a double-ditched sub-rectangular enclosure (NMR Monument Number: 1537544), four sub-rectangular pits (NMR: 1537546) and a second incomplete ring ditch, all of uncertain date. It is not clear if any of these features are associated with one another. (1)
