Full Description
Cropmarks of a rectangular settlement enclosure possibly medieval in date which has been identified on aerial photographs -HEA 29749/37 29-JUN-2015 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007. The enclosure is ditch defined, measures 33.5m x31.5m and the interior of is almost entirely filled by a large depressed or excavated area visible as a dark cropmark macula. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet Landscape mapping project in 2024.(1-2)
