Full Description
Revetted slit trenches forming part of a Defended Locality of Second World War date were visible as earthworks on RAF/HLA/383 RS 958 28-DEC-1941 and RAF/HLA/380 STBD 958 15-DEC-1941. They articulate with a barbed wire entanglement (MKE124385), part of the St Nicholas at Wade Defended Area established during 1940-41. They were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. The features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
