Summary

Faint cropmarks of four fragmented banks or linears of compacted material of uncertain date and origin seen at the edge of two adjacent fields on aerial photographs taken in 2011. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape project. The linears appear as positive cropmarks indicating the presence of a buried structure or compacted linear feature. The longest measures c.35m in length. Two of the linears are perpendicular to each other with a hint of a curving corner and may form the corner of an enclosure.
