Full Description
An incomplete rectilinear settlement enclosure of possible medieval date adjacent to the north side of Park Road Lane which is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs: HEA 3368_29750_006 29-JUN-2015 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. The visible remains which are incomplete measure 33.8m x 37m. The site appears as two perpendicuar ditches and a single corner with the cropmarks of a large rectilinear depression with the enclosure. This site has been and mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. (1-2).
