Full Description

Possible Bronze Age round barrow visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs - NMR 962/95 09-JUL-1976. The site appears as the cropmark of a ploughed-out sub-circular mound 13m in diameter, with evidence of some buried mound material visible as a pale cropmark. In the centre of the this mound is the cropmark of a single pit, possibly the result of subsequent robbing of the barrow. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Cropmarks of second larger mound lies immediately to the SW. This is recorded separately (1).
