Full Description

RCHME AP shows staple enclosure and 2 macula features, one consisting of possible pits.

A staple enclosure and two irregular macula features have been identified in fields just to the east of Seamark road near Monkton roundabout. It appears that one of the macula features contains evidence of pits. These features were visible in aerial photographs taken for the Royal Commission on the Historic Monuments of England as to record the cropmarks of Kent. (1)
