A linear bank, probably a former boundary of uncertain date seen as an earthwork extending south for 210m from the the Ratcliffe Highway. The linear feature crosses the current field boundary on a slightly different course, but does appear parallel to the next field boundary to the east. This former boundary was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
