Summary
A linear bank, probably a former boundary of uncertain date seen as an earthwork extending south for 210m from the the Ratcliffe Highway. The linear feature crosses the current field boundary on a slightly different course, but does appear parallel to the next field boundary to the east. This former boundary was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

Full Description
A linear bank, probably a former boundary of uncertain date seen centred at TQ 8156 7681. It was seen as an earthwork extending south for 210m from the the Ratcliffe Highway. The linear feature crosses the current field boundary on a slightly different course, but does appear parallel to the next field boundary to the east. This former boundary was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (1)
