Summary

A possible sheepfold is depicted on the 1867 Ordnance Survey map. This was situated near the centre of Nor Marsh (an island in the Medway). By 1896 there is also a sheep wash at this location by the next two editions (1909, 1932) only mark the sheep wash. Nothing can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. This feature was identified as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
