Full Description

Bomb craters of Second World War date were visible as soilmarks in RAF/HLA/564 V 6011 01-JUN-1942 and RAF/HLA/564 V 6034 01-JUN-1942. Numerous infilled craters were visible spread on a roughly east/west orientation on the south-west part of the former grass outfield of RAF Manston. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
