Full Description
Cliftonville - extent of settlement as shown on the 2nd edition O/S map. The was no evidence of a settlement on earlier maps and Cliftonville itself had been incorporated into Margate on later O/S maps. The area was named as Margate New Town on the 1st Edition O/S map but had been renamed as Cliftonville Ward on the 2nd Edition.
