Full Description
A control chamber of Second World War date was seen as a structure in US/7PH/GP/LOC286 V 5010 19-APR-1944. The small building is described as a control chamber for the Fog Investigation and Dispersal Operation system installed at the airfield during the latter years of the Second World war (RAF Manston airfield plan held by the RAF Museum (Hendon) (reference X004-2380).
It was recorded as a demolished structure on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
