Full Description

A fighter pen of Second World War date was visible as an earthwork in RAF/HLA/407 V 85 28-FEB-1942. This E-type fighter pen stood in front of RAF Manston's First World War 'War Flight' Aeroplane Shed A. It was recorded as a levelled earthwork in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
