Full Description
Five air raid shelters of Second World War date were visible as earthworks in RAF/HLA/564 V 6029 01-JUN-1942. They were situated towards the southern end of RAF Manston's 'War Flight' area on the eastern side of the airfield. They were recorded as levelled earthworks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
