Full Description

Fourteen air raid shelters of Second World War date were visible as earthworks in RAF/HLA/564 V 6013 01-JUN-1942 and RAF/HLA/407 V 78 28-FEB-1942. They were grouped on the northern side of the station. They were recorded as a levelled earthwork in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
