Full Description
A generator house of Second World War date was visible as a structure in RAF/HLA/407 V 85 28-FEB-1942. It was located at RAF Manston's 'War Flight' area on the east side of the airfield, described as a 'generator shelter' on a mid-20th century map of the airfield (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference X004-2380). This feature was recorded as a demolished structure in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
