Full Description
Two Second World War possible weapons pits was visible as an possible weapons pits visible as cropmarks on EARTH.GOOGLE.COM MAY-2017 ACCESSED 08-NOV-2023. These features appeared slightly curving ditches between 2.5 and 3m in length. These are two small features within a large defended area established on Hengrove Golf Course during the war which has been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(1)
