Full Description
four Second World War possible weapons pits was visible as an arc of pits visible as cropmarks on EARTH.GOOGLE.COM MAY-2017 ACCESSED 08-NOV-2023. These are four small features within a large defended area established on Hengrove Golf Course during the war which has been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(1)
