Full Description

A road block of Second World War date was visible as structures in RAF/HLA/564 V 6029 01-JUN-1942. It included at least one anti tank cube and other roadside obstacles. The road block was part of defences on the Manston Road around the eastern approach to RAF Manston. It was recorded as demolished structures in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
