Full Description
Two gun emplacements of Second World War date were visible as structures in RAF/HLA/564 V 6028 01-JUN-1942. They stood on the north side of the Manston Road amongst a complex of revetted slit trenches. They were part of defences on the Manston Road around the eastern approach to RAF Manston. They were recorded as demolished structures in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
