Summary

The abandoned remains of a post medieval ship can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This unidentified vessel is situated on Slede Ooze on the western side of Slede Creek. Its approximate dimensions are 38m by 6m. It is still visible on aerial photographs taken in 2007 and 2011 and some internal divisions can also be seen. It is immediately to the north of another wreck (see NMR 1538478) and may be one of the vessels originally recorded in NMR 900730. This craft was mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. Status: Not specified
