Summary
The abandoned remains of a post medieval ship can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This unidentified vessel is situated on Slede Ooze on the western side of Slede Creek. Its approximate dimensions are 40m by 5m. It is still visible on aerial photographs taken in 2007 and 2011 and some internal divisions can also be seen. It lies immediatelty to the south of another wreck (see NMR 1538476). This craft was mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
