Summary
The possible remains of a post medieval boat can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This unidentified vessel is situated on Slede Ooze on the western side of Slede Creek. An irregular shaped feature is still visible on aerial photographs taken in 2007 measuring 5m by 3m. It may be one of the vessels originally recorded in NMR 900730. This craft was mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
