Full Description
A possible Second World War weapons pit visible as earthworks on RAF/HLA/564 V 6016 01-JUN-1942. It is located inside the barbed wire enclosure of a Second World War defenced area on one of the trenches which made up defences in the early part of the war. Recorded as levelled on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. These were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(1-2)
