Full Description
Margate - extent of settlement as shown on the 3rd and 4th Edition O/S maps. The 3rd Edition O/S map indicates some development eastwards towards Cliftonville, southeastwards towards Northdown and to a lesser extent westwards towards Westbrook. The 4th Edition O/S map shows a significant expansion eastwards towards Cliftonville and westwards to include Westbrook. There was some development southeastwards Northdown.
