Full Description
Broadstairs - extent of settlement as shown on the 1797 and 1837-58 Tithe maps. The 1797 map shows Broadstairs as a small settlment round the bay and the Pier. By the 1850's the town had expanded northwards, westwards and southwards but was still centred on the bay area.
