St Nicholas At Wade, Thanet - Extent as seen on the on the 1st and 2nd edition of the OS 25” maps.
The Village is substantially the same as that shown on the earlier Tithe and OSD1b maps dated between1797-1838.
The main changes are the addition of a National School (Boys & Girls) to the East of Down Barton Road, four houses on Down Barton Road, to the west of Summer Road and the addition of two ‘T’ shaped buildings either side of Millers Cottage (Shown on modern OS Maps as leading to Manor Road).<1> <2>
