Full Description
Broadstairs - extent of settlement as shown on the 3rd and 4th Edition O/S maps. Considerable expansion was shown on the 3rd Edition O/Smap to include Reading Street to the northwest, St Peters to the west and Upton to the southwest. There did not appear to be much expansin to the north and south of the town although new roads were laid out to the north. Even more expansion was shown on the 4th Edition O/S map especially to the south of the town.
