Full Description

The position of structures of Second World War date were visible as levelled earthworks in RAF/HLA/564 V 6020 01-JUN-1942. Two areas of disturbed ground were visible either side of the perimeter track on the east side of the airfield. They were recorded as levelled earthworks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 and were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
