Full Description

A trench and small structures of Second World War date were visible as a soilmark and structures in RAF/HLA/564 V 6020 01-JUN-1942. They were located in the north-east corner of RAF Manston's outfield. The trench may have provided services such as power to the two small structures, which were recorded as demolished structures in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
