Full Description

A possible Second World War slit trench visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1378 V 5050 04-APR-1946. The feature is later visible as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 . This site lies adjacent two phases of HAA gun emplacements and may have acted as an air raid shelter/refuge. This was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(1-2)
