Full Description

Two possible Second World War slit trench visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1378 FV 7079 04-APR-1946 These were later noted as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 . This site lies adjacent two phases of HAA gun emplacements and may have acted as defensive positions or as an air raid shelter/refuge. These were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(1-2)
