Full Description

The site of four WW2 Heavy Anti-Aircraft gun enmplacements set in a shallow arc. Each is a sub-square embanked (sand-bagged) enclosure with the four concrete internal ammunition lockers visible. This site is coincides with a record for the site of a Chain Home Low radar station which may be located further to the west. These four features are HAA gun emplacments. The ammunition store adjacent to the Manston Road may have supplied this site and others in the area. All trace of these sites have now been removed.
