Full Description
A weapons pit of Second World War date was visible as an earthwork in RAF/HLA/564 V 6012 01-JUN-1942. It was dug outside the east flank of the former First World War semi-sunken hangar at Alland Grange that had been adapted for later military use (MKE125414). It was recorded as a levelled earthwork in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
