A barbed wire entanglement of Second World War date was seen as a structure in RAF/HLA/407 V 78 28-FEB-1942 and RAF/HLA/564 V 6012 01-JUN-1942. It enclosed the two former First World War hangars at Cheeseman's Farm and Alland Grange and articulated with further barbed wire entanglements to link military installations and the technical area of RAF Manston. It formed part of the defences of RAF Manston's north-west flank. It was recorded as a demolished structure in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
