Full Description
Decontamination buildings of Second World War date were visible as structures in RAF/HLA/564 V 6012 01-JUN-1942. They were recorded as 'Decontamination Centre' on a mid-20th century plan of RAF Manston (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference X004/2380). There are extant buildings on the same footprint in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
