Full Description

Three weapons pits and a gun emplacement of Second World War date were visible as earthworks in RAF/HLA/407 V 78 28-FEB-1942. They were located in the garden and paddock areas behind the cottages. They were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
